Eric Bernard Gilbert, affectionately called Boo Man, was born on April 19, 1971 to Debbie Culberth and Thomas Jones II in Cuthbert, Georgia. He departed this life on May 22, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. He was a graduate of Randolph-Clay High School, class of 1988. Many would describe him as an outspoken-kindhearted person that loved spending time with his family and friends. Eric was a hard worker; a man of many trades. He worked at American Protein in Cuthbert, Georgia, White Oak Pastures in Bluffton, Georgia, and Keystone Foods in Eufaula, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucille Walden, Sylvester J. Gilbert, Willie Mae Jones and Thomas Jones, Sr.; his sister, Sheila Jones; a daughter, Latarica Smith; and two uncles. Eric leaves to cherish his memories, a loving mother, Debbie (Ricky) Culberth; and father, Thomas (Sandra) Jones II, both of Cuthbert, Georgia; eight loving children, Emily McNeal, Jarvis Smith, Eric Smith, all of Eugaula, Alabama, Kamellia (Corey) Brown, Quardarious Jackson, Kureakus West, all of Cuthbert, Georgia, Tavious Stevens of Atlanta, Georgia, and Damira Cooke of Hartford, Connecticut; six loving grandchildren, Eleriyah Johnson and Manquavious Johnson, Jr. (Emily’s two) of Eufaula, Alabama, TaKhya Cannon and Corey Brown, Jr. (Kamellia’s two) of Cuthbert, Georgia, Khi Morris (Tavious) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Honor Jackson (Quardarious) of Cuthbert, Georgia; two sisters, Lashona Butler and Shovon Jones, both of Cuthbert, Georgia; three brothers, Midarrious (Kameshia) Cuthbert, Thomas Jones, III, Timothy Jones, all of Cuthbert, Georgia; significant other, Emily Gilbert; ten aunts, three uncles, six nieces, five nephews, and a host of loving and devoted cousins, family and friends.
