Sister Louise Jordan Cooper was born April 23, 1932, in Terrell County, to the late William and Alice Jordan. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined Beulahland Baptist Church. For years she faithfully served on the usher’s board, until her health declined. She received her education from the public schools of Terrell County. She was employed by Cinderella Foods then later became a housekeeper. She loved to cook and feed others, and taking her long daily walks. She loved going to church and serving the Lord. If you knew her you loved her; she was a friend to everyone. She met and married the late Luther Cooper, Sr. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: three sons, Terry, Ronnie and Larry; one daughter, Betty; two grandchildren, Anthony and Richy Cooper; three brothers, William, Earl and Horace; and three sisters, Mary, Willie Maude and Clara. Her precious memories and legacy will always be cherished by her loving family which include: two daughters, Diann (Greg) Bell of Dawson, Georgia, and Patricia (Willie) Scott of Brownwood, Georgia; two sons, Timothy Cooper of Dawson, Georgia, and Luther (Sharon) Cooper, Jr., of Shellman, Georgia; one sister, Doris (J.D.) Brown of St. Petersburg, Florida; one sister-in-law, Ora Jordan of Hollywood, Florida; two brothers-in-law, Lonnie Johnson of Hollywood, Florida, and Charlie C. Watson of Dawson, Georgia; 13 grandchildren, one she raised Dernies Barnum, and one devoted granddaughter Ashley Bell; 17 great-grandchildren; a special niece, Valarie Jordan of St. Petersburg, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends she loved very dearly. On Tuesday, November 20, 2018, Sister Louise made her transition to meet her Savior at the Wilson Hospice House, Albany, Georgia.
