Mrs. Pauline Walker Gibson was born on August 1, 1933, in Baker County to Willie Mae Carter and Jessie Walker who both preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by: her late husband Jenk Gibson, Sr. She joined Thankful Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and attended until her health failed her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: one daughter and two sons, Pauline Anderson, Jimmy Lee Gibson of Newton, Georgia and Jenk Gibson, Jr., of Albany, Georgia; three sisters, Della B. Freeman of Pelham, Georgia, Sara Lee Hawkins, Ruth Mae Washington of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and one brother, Robert Walker of Winter Garden, Florida. Pauline lived a full life until she was called home on June 14, 2019. She transitioned to her eternal rest surrounded by the love of her family. Pauline leaves to cherish her memories: children, Emma Green, Bonnie Thomas, John L. Gibson, Shirley Burns of Newton, Georgia, Amos Gibson (Martha) of Albany, Georgia; and son-in-law, Walter Anderson of Newton, Georgia. She also leaves 26 grandchildren; 60 great-grands; nine great-great-grands; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a community of friends.
