A Time to Be Born

Curtis Taylor was born on November 3, 1954, to the late Ollie Mae Taylor and Willie C. Price. He was raised by the late Perry and Jessie Lee Granger.

A Time to Plant

The seed of life was planted in Dawson, GA, where he attended Terrell High School. Curtis was a devoted member of the Mighty Greenwave marching band. Later, Curtis began his career with North Folk Southern Railroad as a Mechanic Machine Operator.

A Time to Go Home

The final call from God to come home and rest was received on Monday, August 31, 2020, at the Wilson Hospice House in Albany, GA.

A Time for Peace

He leaves to cherish his most prized possessions: his five beautiful children, Teresa (Adrian) Taylor-Allen of Windsor, CT, Curtis (Janice) Taylor of Clearwater, FL, Tonya Taylor of Dawson, GA, Kiwanis Monroe of Albany, GA, and Kiara Burns of Albany, GA; one devoted aunt, Sue (Nelson) Pierce; five brothers, Willie Price, Timothy Price, Reginald Price, and Keith Price; seven sisters, Linda Waller and Brenda Mosley, both of Dunkirk, NY, Marilyn (James) Daniels, Diane Price, and Mildred Reynolds, all of Shellman, GA, and two sisters who preceded him in death, Gloria Cheathams and Yolanda Price; he leaves a special love for the entire extended family of Paul and Lizzie Mae Burns; one special brother, Robert Dell Bennefield of Hartford, CT; sixteen grandchildren, Asia, Telaysia, Kymani, Adria, Curtis, Michael, Bethany, Jeremiah, Daniel, Joshua, Mary, Mahogany, Cordell, Marilyn, Aubrey, and Arielle; and one great-grandson, Kye.
