David E. Shiver of Dawson, Georgia passed peacefully from this life on February 28, 2026, at Wilson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia, surrounded by the love of his family and dear friends.

David’s life was a blessing to all who knew him. His kindness, steady presence, and warm heart will be remembered and cherished by those whose lives he touched. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate his life.

Services are entrusted to Ward Funeral Home.
