Obituary

Felix Irving, was born on July 7, 1960, in the heart of Dawson, Georgia, He was the cherished son of the late Harvey Irving and Lucinda V. Harvey, whose lives he touched in countless ways throughout his journey here on earth.

From an early age, Felix demonstrated a profound faith in Christ, a faith that blossomed and deepened with each passing year. His upbringing in the Terrell County Public School system laid the foundation for a life rich in values and community spirit. As a young man, he found joy in the athletic realms of basketball and football, passionately attending games whenever he could, filling the stands with unwavering enthusiasm.

As time rolled on, Felix’s interests shifted, and he developed a love for classic Westerns, which offered him cherished moments of relaxation and enjoyment. In addition to his passions, family gatherings brought him immense joy, creating lasting bonds and memories that will be held dear by all who knew him.

Felix dedicated many years of his life to working with pride and commitment at Oxford Shirting and Golden Peanut in Dawson, Georgia, and later at SG Pecan Co in Valdosta, Georgia. His strong work ethic and dedication were admired by those around him.

In his journey of love, Felix was joined in holy matrimony to Dianne Bell, whose spirit and companionship brightened his life. Their union remains a testament to love's enduring power, even as they were reunited in spirit, as Dianne preceded him in death.

Felix transitioned to his eternal home on January 15, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.  At the time of his passing, Felix was met not only by his beloved wife but also by his father and a sister, surrounded by angels as he embarked on his everlasting journey.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be cherished by many. Felix is survived by his devoted mother, Lucinda V. Harvey; his loving daughter, Aleasha Irving; and his siblings: Nathaniel Watson, Theresa Burks, Cynthia (McArthur) Neal, Helen Harvey, Reben Harvey, and Frank (Stacy) Harvey, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, and dear friends who will carry his memory with them forever. Felix Irving's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, reminding us to cherish our families, our faith, and the simple joys of life.
