Remembering "Daddy"James E. Walden was born on November 16, 1961, to the late Johnny B. Walden and Cora L. Walden.

James was called from labor to reward on May 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie Gibson, Johnny Walden, and Jerome Walden, and one sister, Betty Mosley.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, LaTasha (Carl) Grimes of Morgan, GA, and Shamekia (Traveno) Jackson of Albany, GA; one stepson he treated as his own, Kentrollis (Erica) Tyson of Vine Grove, KY; two sisters, Virginia (Eddie) Bullock and Annie (Charles) Walden, both of Albany, GA; one brother, Willie (Nancy) Walden of Albany, GA; seven grandkids, De'Montavious Battle, De'Vontavious Battle, Jalarius Spann, Ja'Quavious Grimes, Tra'Niyah Jackson, Traveno Jackson, Jr., and Traverrius Jackson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
