Mrs. Maggie Lee Martin was born on October 30, 1947 in Randolph County, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Johnson,Sr and Leola Daniels Johnson. Maggie was educated in the Terrell County School System. She accepted Jesus Christ into her life at an early age. She was a member of Mt. Airy M. B. Church in Newton, Georgia, where she served on the Senior Usher Board, under the leadership of late Rev. C.L. Ponder for many years until moving to Dawson, Georgia. She worked for Pineland Plantation as a Laundry worker and Housekeeper for years, until she retired. She married Samuel Martin on November 7, 1966. Maggie transitioned from her earthly life to her eternal home, Wednesday September 23, 2020 at Pruitt Healthcare in Sylvester, Georgia. Maggie will truly be missed by her family and friends.
