Obituary

"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures." Psalm 23:1 Rosie V. Marshall was born January 9, 1958, in Calhoun County, to the late Earnest Williams, Sr., and Minnie Lee Williams, both preceded her in death. At a very early age, she joined the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She was united in holy matrimony to Richard Marshall. On Friday, March 27, 2020, at her home in Shellman, GA, God in His infinite love saw that our beloved sister needed to rest and spoke peace to her soul. He said, "Come now and be at rest." She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: her loving husband, Richard Marshall; three daughters, Shirley Williams, Carolyn Williams Walker, and Felicia Williams all of Shellman, GA; a goddaughter, Kay Adams, of Shellman, GA; son, Anthony Williams, who preceded her in death; two sisters, Bertha Johnson and Louise Williams; seven brothers, Earnest Williams, Jr., Curtis Williams, Riley (Mary) Williams, James Williams, and three brothers preceded her in death, all of Shellman, GA; eight lovely grandchildren, Devonta Bell, Thyeshia Grimes, Moneshia Williams, Quanjerrious Williams, Derrick Lewis, Jr., Tony Walker, Jr., Jecarious Grimes, and James Hurst, Jr.; two sisters-inlaw, Barbara (Sam) Wilson and Johnnie Sue Green; four brothersin-law, Samuel (Sue) Marshall, William Marshall, Thomas (Jean) Marshall, and Eddie Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends that will mourn her passing.
