Sherri Lynn Atkinson Tyson was born on October 30, 1959, to the late Mr. Leon Brown and Mrs. Mary Ruth Brown, in Mobile, Alabama.

Sherri obtained her education from the Randolph County School System.

Sherri was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was an excellent cook and found great joy in preparing meals. She was a softball player who didn't miss a chance to play. Every opportunity she had, she would go to the beach to relax.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Tyson; son, Dallas Kendall Giles; mother, Mary Ruth Brown; and father, Johnnie Leon Brown.

Sherri will forever be missed and leaves memories to be cherished by: two sons, Michael Jason McHan and Joel Blake (April) Giles; two daughters, Kami Brook NeSmith and Kala Sheree Giles; eight grandchildren, Shaeley, Gabby, Jeremy, T'Briyah, Jaxon, Zac, Nolan, and Jazzlynn; five brothers, Felix (Debbie) Atkinson, Tommie Atkinson, Michael Atkinson, Terry Atkinson, and Johnnie (Laura) Brown; and an enormous host of extended family and friends.
