Mr. Sid Wesley Lofton, the son of the late Harold Wesley Lofton and the late Eva Mae Lofton, was born in Randolph County, Georgia.

Sid confessed his love for Christ at an early age.

He was educated in the public school system of Terrell County, Georgia.

Sid was employed by the City of Dawson, Georgia for 29 years.  He was a member of the Albany Daylily Club. Throughout his life he enjoyed the great outdoors and fishing.

He departed this earthly life on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at his residence.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Wiley Lofton and a sister, Elizabeth Pollock.

Precious memories will be forever cherished by his brothers, William Lofton of Dawson, Georgia, and Franklin R. Lofton of Bronwood, Georgia; one Sister, Lillie Mae Lommel of Texas; two nieces, Brenda Anderson of Parrott and Elizabeth Melton of Dawson, one Nephew, Charles Pollock of Dawson, Georgia, one Great niece, Jessica Anderson of Bronwood, Georgia; two great nephews, Ronald Anderson, Jr. and Joshua Anderson both of Parrott Georgia  all of whom  he raised as his own children; a host of loving family and friends.
