Silas M. Burnett was born on January 29, 1934, to Mr. Zeb Burnett, Sr., and Mrs. Della Burnett in Randolph County. Silas transitioned to his eternal rest on November 18, 2022, at Bostick Nursing Home in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Silas received his education in the Randolph County School System. He enjoyed life, being in the outdoors, loved to go fishing and connecting with nature. He also enjoyed his family and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Silas was preceded in death by his parents, Zeb Burnett, Sr. and Della Burnett, and siblings, Zeb Burnett, Jr., Little John Burnett, Louis Burnett, Mary Frances Tanner, Alberta Burnett, Mary Vickers, and Lucy Hogan.

Silas leaves his memories to be cherished by: loving sister, Maudie Burnett of Cuthbert, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He will be missed dearly by all.
