Bertha L Johnson

Bertha L. Johnson was born February 18, 1964, in Calhoun County, to the late Earnest Williams, Sr., and Minnie Lee Williams, both of whom preceded her in death. At a very early age, she joined the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She was united in holy matrimony to Lawrence Johnson, Sr., who preceded her in death. On Monday, April 13, 2020, at SWG Hospital, Cuthbert, Georgia, God, in His infinite love, saw that our beloved sister needed to rest and spoke peace to her soul. He said, “Come now and be at rest.” She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: her loving boyfriend, James Walden of Albany, Georgia; one daughter, Veronica Williams; four sons, Marvin Williams, Maurice Williams, Corderra Williams, and Antonio Williams, all of Shellman, Georgia; two stepchildren, who she called her own, Lawrence Johnson, Jr., and Kimberly Johnson; seven brothers, Earnest Williams, Jr., Curtis Williams, James Williams, Riley (Mary) Williams, and three brothers who preceded her in death; two sisters, Louise Williams of Shellman, Georgia, and Rose Marshall, who preceded her in death; a brother-in-law, Richard Marshall; fourteen grandchildren, Tri’mane, Jaylin, Antonio, Jamauri, Ketriona, Cordrra Jr., Kerstin, Zyshon, JaLiyah, Keyvoisia, KeyLontaye, Nytravious, Katrina, and Maurice Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and sorrowing friends who will mourn her passing.
