Diane Bell was born in Newark, New Jersey, on August 20,
1967, to Mrs. Lucy Mae Dennard Bell and Harold Thomas and
she remained in Newark for the first eight years of her life.
Diane accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age.
She graduated from Terrell High School in Dawson, Georgia.
After receiving her high school diploma, she attended
Wiregrass Technical College and received her certificate as
a Nursing Assistant. She loved her family dearly and showed
love wherever she went.
Later she relocated back to Newark, New Jersey where she was
employed in banking, and remained there for five years. She
then made the decision to go back to Dawson, Georgia and
joined First Shiloh Baptist Church where she was a part of the
choir and blessed the congregation with her angelic voice for
many years.
On December 25, 2023, Diane made her heavenly transition
from this earthly place. She was preceded in death by her
parents, Mrs. Lucy Mae Bell and Mr. Harold Thomas; brothers,
Derrick Bell and Walter Henry Bell; and a host of extended
family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful and loving memory: her
husband of 23 years, Felix Irving; brother whom she raised
as a son, Michael Shane (Ernestine) Bell of Stockbridge, GA;
loving daughter, Aleasha Shae Irving; brothers, Robert Bell
and Leroy Bell, both of Newark, NJ; sisters, Phyllis Michelle
(Eugene) Bell, Mavis Bell, both of Valdosta, GA, and Camille
Thomas of North Carolina; nieces, Jeanne Bell and Sage Lucy
Bell Johnson; nephews, Brandon Bell and Jacorey (Christian)
Bell; special friend, Jackie; and a host of aunties, uncles, other
nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
All will miss her dearly.
