Mr. Timothy Lee Morris was born on February 23, 1977, in Camilla, Georgia, to Ms. Lucille Morris and the late Mr. Willie James Bentley.
Mr. Morris attended and graduated from Mitchell-Baker High School and shortly thereafter, he joined the U.S. Navy where he served six years.
Mr. Morris attended True Fellowship Non-Denominational Holiness Church in Newton, GA, under the fellowship of Evangelist Willie Mae Weston.
Timothy, affectionately known as “Smoke,” departed this life on Saturday, January 16, 2021, in Newton, GA.
Mr. Morris leaves to mourn: his mother, Ms. Lucille Morris of Newton; two daughters, JaLisa Crosby and Ta’Lia Morris both of Sylvester, GA; two sisters, Joanne (Sylvester) Ricks of Jacksonville, FL, and April Weston of Newton, GA; one half-sister, Cassenda Nelson of Camilla, GA; two brothers, Kerry Bentley of Moultrie, GA, and Benard Bentley of Pelham, GA; five uncles, John Lee (Mary) Curry of Leesburg, GA, Reverend William (Betty) Morris and Jimmy Lee Morris of Newton, GA, Ike (Patricia) Morris of Colquitt, GA, and James Mark (Michelle) Morris of Newport News, VA; four aunts, Doris Sims of Albany, GA, his special aunt, Mary Ann Sims of Newton, GA, Carolyn Cooper of Albany, GA, and Emma (Grady) Langsford, Atlanta, GA; special friend, Jodi Folsom of Newton, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other friends, and classmates.Mr. Morris will truly be missed and his laughter and smile will never be forgotten.
